david50,That sounds like a great idea taking the youngster along. The outdoors is a good place to spend time.To many kids spend so much time on the TV games and computer games now days.Don`t get me wrong, the games are fun to play, but some kids are on them all day and night. Can you hunt on Sundays too?I wish we could hunt on Sundays here in PA.

bushytail,he is only six years old and he has his video games and such but they dont seem to hold his attention long.at this point he is more interested in grapa's flintlocks and tagging along with me squirrel hunting, this is all fine by me and i am glad of it.i have gotten him a .32 Crokkett rifle but am going to wait a while before giving it to him he is still a bit young, maybe on his next birthday. yes we can hunt on sundays here in Missouri and we have a long season,it runs from around the last week end in may til the middle of febuary.

Great pictures. Sure gets me thinking. I grew up in SE Missouri (Dexter) but I've been in Wyoming for the last 40 years. I'm thinking about moving back to Missouri to retire. I sure miss the squirrel hunting and I'm getting awfully tired of the winters up here. Thanks for posting the pictures.
