My apologies to this forum, my receipt for Ship's bread, (hardtack), included sea salt as one of the ingredients and this is in error. Salt was not included in the original receipts of the 18th century. Please omit the salt for PC ships bread, "hardtack". Very poor research and an irresponsible post on my part.
