You could look up the Contemporary Longrifle Association
www.longrifle.ws They have a number of horn makers as members and they often list horns for sale. Lots of info there . Some of the members have websites that you can link to.

Because I am a member of that website, and I make, carve, and scrimshaw / engrave powder horns. Some of the best horners I've seen are on that site.

The Contemporary Longrifle Association does have a lot of horners that are very very good, but most ( not all ) of them are very expensive. If money is no issue go for it.

A few of the horners on the Contemporary Longrifle Association are also members of the horners bench web-site.

Check out Rick ( aka: horner75 ) his work is amazing. He can make a simple horn to a work of art horn.
