To make Plum Duff, Just add a half pound of currants or raisins to the mixture. I just throw whatever amount I want to in. -------------------------- To make spotted Dog, Just add 1/2 pound of raisins and 2 ounces of raw cain sugar to the mixture. This is a huge treat when out on a winter scout. The sugar is great fuel and when eaten on a cold day, WOW!---------------- To make Roly Poly, instead of making the dough into a sausage shape, roll the dough out into a square, then spread it thickly with jam, rasberry, strewberry, or plum, then roll the dough up into a sausage shape and place in the pudding bag and boil her up as I noted in the "Basic Duff" post. I would save the Roly-Poly for a special event or holiday. You won't believe how great this is on a cold dark winters night in the woods or back at the homestead. For those of you who are cooking from the reciepts I have given, please let me know if you have enjoyed them on the trail. If you have had problems cooking them, I'd be interested in your experiences. Best regards, keep your powder and feet dry and stay warm, Paul
