Hello All, DGW used to carry a small pistol with a screw on barrel in flintlock that I'd call a purse gun. I didn't see it when I looked earlier as I was gonna buy one for the wife for christmas. Does anyone know what it was called and who carries them now? Thanks again...Eric [/code]

I have one. They need extensive overhauling to work at even the lowest of expectations. If you are looking for a conversation piece, they are fine. If you want something that acually works, you need to be a gunsmith, or have one rework it.
PS
You can buy an original much cheaper than you might think, and it might even work.

I have one by Palmetto Arms (Not Dixie) that is .41 caliber, has .405 mold, flask, flints, loading tool, some cast balls and patches. Email for pictures. I shot it once and put it away. It functions fine. All yours for $250, shipped. It is packed and ready to ship for Christmas.
