Bruce Everhart has made us a fine English Fowler. It features a Getz 48" 20 ga. swamped barrel, English walnut stock, Chambers Colonial Virginia flintlock and brass furniture. Bruce's website is, http://www.flintguns.com and his e-mail is Bentflint@Hughes.net

Djuana Tucker has donated a braintanned shot bag with quillwork and cones with deertail hair.

This years powderhorn was made by Pete Hutton. It is a York County screwtip. It has been carved and antiqued. Pete's e-mail address is, powderhorn@dishmail.com

Kim Mulder created the hemp fingerwoven strap to finish off this fine horn. Kim can be contacted at, delruna@yahoo.com

Once again we have a Hunter's Knife made by Scott Summerville. It has been graciously donated by Petey Jaquet of Illinois. This knife has a forged 9" blade with a hexagon shaped maple handle with a pewter bolster.

$5 per ticket. If you buy ten(10) tickets, you get one(1) bonus ticket free. You can use Paypal to purchase tickets or contact me and I can e-mail you a pdf. that you can print out and snail mail to us. The drawing will be held at Fort de Chartres, noon on June 3rd, 2012.

Please help support Illinois's History sites by buying a raffle ticket for these great items. All proceeds will go back to the historic sites of the The French Colonial District. They are the Cahokia Courthouse, Fort Kakaskia, The Pierre Menard Home, and Fort de Chartres.

OK folks just a couple more weeks until we draw for this years gun and accoutrements.

Please note, that PAYPAL will no longer accept ticket purchaes so it will have to be done the old fashioned way by snail mail.
