|6 hardboiled eggs
1 raw egg beaten
1 lb. of your favorite sausage, I prefer Jimmy Dean, Hot
1 cup (approx) corn flakes
Hard boil 6 medimum sized eggs
Peel the eggs. This step is important, trust me!
Cover a cookie sheet with foil and spray with cooking spray
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Divide the sausage into six equal portions and put back in fridge.
Beat the remaining egg in a small bowl to be used as a wash
Flatten out a portion of the cold sausage in your hand and wrap the sausage around the egg, coating entire egg with a layer of sausage.
Dip the wrapped egg in the wash until and roll in cornflakes until coated, very messy process.
Place each egg on cookie sheet and bake for 36 minutes turning eggs every 12 minutes
Let them cool and slice. When sliced the look like bulls eye targets, makes a great presentation
Leave them unsliced and you can wrap them in parchment and carry in your haversack for a great lunch during a hunt or trek. Or warm by the fire on a cooking fork. If you are in camp, serve with Inglehoffer sweet-hot mustard
