well when it is still spring and poke berry stems are still green.gather up a handful or so much that you need to have a good supper.cut all the leaves off and boil them in some water.once you have boiled them a couple minutes dump out the water and put some more in and boil them again.you do it twice so you dont get sick or anything.thin once you have boiled them twice,dump out the water then gently fry them with some salt and peper for seasoning or mabey some nuts or meat for better flavor.eat and enjoy after that.hope you guys will try it cause its good and easy to make....eric
