I took this eight pointer the first day of our November deer season. Used my old 54 caliber Virginia to drop his butt about 30 yards off. He had an 18" spread and weighed 183 pounds. I've killed better bucks, but he was the best one I saw all season.

I would have to look through my journals to see how many I've killed with this rifle, but a few years ago I took my best buck ever with it. A ten pointer with a 22 inch spread, IIRC he weighed right at 185 pounds field dressed. Thank you.
