I know it has been asked before but does anyone have a good recipe for waterproffing canvas, my homemade whelin leaked like a sieve last year at the Pacific Primitave and I need to redo it before this years in June. Thanks. Scratch

You can use linseed oil. I believe that is what they used in the 18th century to waterproof oil cloth.
