I plan on going to the PPR in Idaho this June and only have a pyramid and have been told that it is not period correct, yet have been told that they have been in use since the 1820s, can anyone help out, if not I need to get a different outfit.

Hope this helps and saves you some money. We attended PPR last year 2011. I used a pyramid and out of 300+ camps and I saw at least 30+ more pyramids. Now this was in Paisely, OR, thing to do is to go to their website and the Booshway's number is listed and give her a call!!! Oh....Folks(tent builders) who sold me the tent said it was period of course!!! LOL.....Tentsmith Company seems really knowledgeable as well!!!! Love my pyramid tent!!!!
