My fav... all of Romans 12

I'm with you here Isaac on both counts and I can't help but remember a quote from one of my favorite undergraduate professors, a rather devout Presbyterian who once said:

"The Old Testament was written by simple people for simple people", a statement which is far deeper than it appears and one with which I have long and completely concurred.I leave it to the more erudite to pierce the veil.

As to my favorite Biblical cite, it would have to be the following:

ACTS;22-28 ; Chapter 22; Verses 24-30

Have fun with this one.

Josh. XXIV:15

And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

My personal favorites are the book of Psalms. No matter what problem or situation you may find yourself in, there's a Psalm for it. I've referred to them many, many times in my life.

Just out of curiosity, why has the original post in this thread been deleted?

Although I can't say for certain why it was deleted, I can speculate by looking at a few others postings from the the same person that have all been deleted. One being the thread that referenced something about their college degree and the other a response to the posting regarding "who is your favorite gunmaker." The response was a list of gun makers for modern guns. At the time I read all three of the posting by this individual none of them seemed related to the subject of this board. I'm guessing that they were deleted for that reason. No reason to suspect that it had anything to do with this particular topic, especially since it was only that individuals comments that was deleted.

I like about all the Psalms. Been reading a lot of Mark and Luke lately. Also look at my quote line, I put that on all my horns that I carry.

I think the original poster was a spammer/bot/etc. When I deleted his account I deleted all of the posts automatically. This is not a banned topic.

For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands.
