Beowulf posted a piece on parched corn a while back, which I am not able to reply to apparently, so I will post my questions here:
I tried this recipe a while back and the corn finished up hard and not edible/chewable as was, where did I go wrong?
Why parched corn, why did they not just dry the corn as is done with peas? Regards, Keith.
