You can get good hemp at almost any craft store now and it is much less rough on your hands than jute while weaving. Otherwise wear gloves or get blisters.

For larger quantities of powder our unit keeps the cans for the rifles inside a wooden box built to replicate a simple camp box and holds about six cans of powder.

Mike, that is a great point... anytime you try new cloth always do a burn test.

Cotton and Linnen will burn then crumble to an ash.

If there is any plastic in it at all it will burn fast and mel ...

Usually weight of cloth refers to how thick it is... Linen comes in the same thickn ...
